The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean's List.

More than 600 students earned endowed scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. BW has a long history of endowed scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. More than 385 named scholarships provide over $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. Endowed scholarships vary in their requirements with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

Ohio Wesleyan University is pleased to announce its 2017 spring semester Dean's List. To qualify for OWU Dean's List recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes. Congratulations, Bishops, on this outstanding academic achievement!

UA students helped in assisting over 500 grade school and high school students during the 2016 Time Warner Cable Akron Regional Science Olympiad.
Each year, UA's Department of Student Life service office, serveAkron, organizes the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program. More than ninety Zips volunteered during the week of Spring Break, March 21-25, 2016, with three diverse non-profit organizations in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. In all, these volunteers dedicated 3,056 hours to making a difference.
St. Jude Up 'til Dawn, a registered student organization, works each year to raise funds and awareness for the work being done at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis to fight childhood cancers.
As part of BWs Alternative Break service program, a group of 11 students traveled to San Antonio over Winter Break 2015. They took part in a variety of activities exploring issues of hunger and food insecurity in a diverse community including immigrant families and veterans. The Alternative Break experience at BW provides students with opportunities to make a difference, travel to another area, learn new skills and meet people with similar interests.
Kent State welcomes its highest-achieving freshman class ever and continues strong university enrollment. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.35 and an average ACT score of above 23; both are increases over last year and records for an incoming Kent campus freshman class.
